Brushy Creek Campground is one of the best campgrounds in all of East Texas. This campground is defined by the huge pine trees that reach into the sky all over the camping area. These trees provide plenty of shade and some protection from the wind.

The campground consists of 76 camping spaces. There are 39 RV camping spaces that require RVs to back in. These sites have water and 50 amp electric hookups. Many of the spaces are along the lake and most, if not all, have great views of the lake. The campground itself is set on a sloping hill.

There are 12 electric tent campsites and all have nice tent pads, picnic tables, and fire rings. There are another 25 non-electric sites away from RVs in the back of the park for those crowded weekends. These non-electric sites have fire rings and picnic tables. Some of the best views of the lake are in the very back of the park in the remote camping area. There are also nice trails for exploring in the back area of the park.

You can view a map of Brushy Creek right here.

There is a playground area for kids to play in the camping area. And the restrooms are very nice for a campground. A two-lane boat ramp with dock exists for launching your boat. There is a large parking area for storing your trailer overnight.

Brushy Creek Campground has a fishing pier that you can actually catch fish from. Bank fishing is also good in this park for black bass and catfish.

This is one of our favorite places to camp in all of Texas. We cannot recommend this campground enough. If you are looking to RV camp or tent camp in East Texas, this is a wonderful place to get away from it all. Enjoy!
