Brushy Creek Campground is our favorite campground on Lake O’ The Pines and in all of east Texas. This campground sits lakeside among beautiful pine trees that provide plenty of shade. RV camping and tent camping are available in Brushy Creek. You will find water and electric hookups as well as primitive campsites if you prefer.
Reservations for Brushy Creek campsites are available at Recreation.gov for a fee.
There are 62 RV campsites available as well as 37 tent campsites. Most sites have water and electric hookups available although some of the tent sites are primitive so be aware when you make your reservations.
You can fish right from the bank at Brushy Creek and catch plenty of fish. There is a swim beach available within the park. And a boat ramp is available for you to launch your boat.

This is the best park and campground on Lake O’ The Pines. If you are looking to go camping and want a beautiful and relaxing park to visit this is a great one to visit.
Directions to the park:
From Jefferson, TX, travel 3.8 miles northwest on Highway 49. Turn left onto FM 729 and continue for approximately 3.5 miles, then turn left again onto FM 726. Travel 5.0 miles, turn right at the stop sign and follow signs to the park entrance.
