The campground at Johnson Creek Park is one of the nicest campgrounds in Texas. This beautiful campground has 54 campsites with most having great views of Lake O’ The Pines.
For RV camping, there are two main areas. RV sites 401 through 417 are on the south end of the park near the gate. These sites have great lake views and are located fairly close to the lake. These sites area also closer to the day use area. RV sites 101 through 114 are in the back of the park on the northern end. These sites are a little more off the lake, but very close to the playground area and the camping beach area. All of the sites we saw were paved, back-in sites, with water and electric hookups.
For Tent camping, there are 9 that are electric and 12 that are non-electric. Almost all of these sites are right on the lake. There is a nice tent pad, picnic table, and a fire ring at all the tent camping sites.
