Lakeside Park is a beautiful day use park on the south end of Lake O’ The Pines. The park is located near the dam. Lakeside Park is highlighted by a great beach area. This beach is one of the largest and nicest on the lake. There are covered picnic tables near the beach area to provide shade. This is a really fun area for that lakeside picnic at Lake O’ The Pines.
Other amenities of Lakeside Park include nice restrooms, a great two-lane boat ramp, and a picnic pavilion. The pavilion can hold groups of up to 100 people. There are electric connections available at the pavilion.
Like most parks at Lake O’ The Pines, Lakeside Park is covered in huge pine trees. These trees provide shade and protection from the wind. The park is also located right next to the dam and there are great views of the lake and the dam area. Fishing from the bank is possible as well and fishing is good due to the location near the dam.
This is one of the best parks on the lake for anyone looking for a relaxing day at the lake. We enjoyed Lakeside Park a great deal and cannot recommend it enough.
